Obama’s Full Employment Act for Law Professors

The Obama Administration has appointed roughly 50 law professors to posts in its administration, according to a posting at the leading law school blog, Brian Leiter’s Law School Reports. http://leiterlawschool.typepad.com/ They range from headliners like Harvard Law School’s former Dean, Elena Kagan, who is now Solicitor General and Georgetown’s Neal Katyal, now principal deputy Solicitor General, to Pepperdine’s Douglas Kmiec, the Ambassador to Malta, and Larry Echohawk of BYU as the head of the Bureau of Indian Affairs.

The list was compiled by Nan Hunter, http://www.law.georgetown.edu/faculty/facinfo/tab_faculty.cfm?Status=FullTime&ID=2307&InfoType=Bio, a professor at Georgetown. http://hunterforjustice.typepad.com/hunter_of_justice/2009/09/lawbama-profs-end-of-summer-update.html
